The City of Big Bear Lake is improving transparency by making public record requests more accessible to the public. The City launched the software JustFOIA this week which is a FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) request software solution designed to help organizations better streamline, manage, and track public record requests. With the launch of JustFOIA, requestors of public information will now have the option of submitting Open Records Requests through an easy-to-use online form. While other methods for submitting requests are still available, community members are encouraged to utilize the new online method.

 "The City of Big Bear Lake chose JustFOIA to help streamline the open records request process for our citizens and improve efficiencies within the City," said Rebecca Cannon, Big Bear Lake's Deputy City Clerk. "We look forward to making our office accessible to the public in all forms of records requests and hope to fulfill requests in a more streamlined timely manner."
