Miss Big Bear is a scholarship pageant to help young ladies of Big Bear High School gain confidence, poise, and interview skills as well as gives them opportunities for community involvement. The contest opens with a dance number, that sets the stage and includes an evening gown portion, a slideshow, entertainment, and questions and answers.

MountainTop Strings of California, the Lighthouse Youth Orchestra, and the Bear Valley Elementary Strings students present wonderful orchestra ensembles and chamber music for your listening pleasure.

2022 Scholarship Presentation

The Steven G Mihaylo BBHS Education Foundation's mission is to award scholarships to Big Bear High School Seniors through fundraising and to provide resources which enrich and enhance educational programs that promote academic, social, emotional development, and well being of students. The foundation awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors each year.
