The Information Technology (IT) Division provides ongoing technical and software support to all the departments of the City and is responsible for enhancing and managing the City’s information technology activities including the evaluation, procurement, and maintenance of computer/network systems and software.

 IT is responsible for:

Senate Bill 272 Compliance

On October 11, 2015, the State of California enacted Senate Bill 272 (SB 272) which required local agencies to make publicly available a catalog of application software (“Enterprise System”) that is used enterprise-wide. City of Big Bear Lake's Catalog of Enterprise Systems.
