The Fire Protection District provides an all-risk/full service organization which serves and protects the community through public education, fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency rescue, disaster preparedness and other services in order to minimize the loss of life and property, damage to the surrounding environment and adverse economic impacts due to natural or man-made emergencies or events.  The current boundaries of the District incorporate approximately nine square miles.
