The Engineering Division manages the City's engineering responsibilities to the community. Projects include streets, drainage, parks, and public buildings. The division manages the City's Capital Improvement Program through the planning, budget, design, and construction stages. The division also reviews and places requirements on new development, reviews and approves improvement plans, and inspects public improvements.
The City is a member of the San Bernardino County Stormwater Program and actively promotes stormwater pollution prevention. For more stormwater information or to report stormwater pollution, visit: http://www.sbcountystormwater.org/

Other functions include solid waste management, NPDES, approving parcel and tract maps and various land survey documents, establishing City standards, interfacing with outside agencies, and performing special studies. The Engineeering Division is available to the public for consultation concerning prospective projects.
