Traffic control, or flagging, will be necessary for all three projects, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Flagging operations will only be two miles apart. The contractors will be working at various locations along SR 330 at the same time eventually, therefore, motorists can expect delays at flagging locations.

Motorists are advised to add time to commutes if they use SR 330. Motorists driving to Big Bear are encouraged to use State Route 38 (SR 38) from Redlands, as a detour to avoid delays.

Advisory signs are posted in advance of the work zones. Please reduce your speed when you encounter flaggers or work crews. The California Highway Patrol will be on site to ensure the safety of the workers and motoring public.

In addition to the three projects above, Caltrans Maintenance crews will be closing SR 18 through the Arctic Circle in early October for three weeks during daytime hours (refer to press release #16- 180). The paving project on SR 18 from Green Valley Lake to Lakeview Point (in the Snow Valley region) has been suspended until spring/summer 2017. Know before you go!
