REGISTERING TO VOTE

Voter Registration forms are available from the City Clerk, 39707 Big Bear Boulevard, or at the Registrar of Voters Office located at 777 East Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino. Forms are also available at the post office and library. Persons may also call the Registrar of Voters at 1-800-345-VOTE to request a registration form.

A person entitled to register to vote must be:

  • A United States Citizen
  • A resident of California
  • Not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony
  • At least 18 years of age on the date of the next election. (A person may register to vote at age 17 if he or she will be 18 on or before the next election.)

VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

The voter registration deadline is always 15 days before an election.

POLLING LOCATIONS

The location of your polling place is printed on the back of your sample ballot pamphlet. Please check the location of your polling place as it may have changed since the last time you voted.

If you misplaced your sample ballot, you may:

Look up your polling place location at the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters

Registered voters must vote at their assigned polling place. Attempting to vote at other than your assigned polling place will necessitate you having to vote a "provisional ballot."

POLLWORKERS

The Registrar of Voters is in need of pollworkers. If you would like to join the hundreds of San Bernardino County residents working as pollworkers, call the Registrar of Voters office at (909) 387-2308 for more information. Pollworkers will get paid to attend a training class, and for their assistance in the election. Earnings can be as much as $130.00 for Inspectors, and $80.00 for Clerks!
